St. David's Episcopal Church is located on the Wasilla-Fishhook Road outside Wasilla city limits. St. David's held a candidate forum in October, 2016 for state senate and representative candidates from the Greater Palmer and Greater Wasilla districts. Leaders from St. David's local organizing ministry team gave personal testimony and asked candidates about affordable housing, lack of substance abuse treatment in the Mat-Su, and about senior services during a budget deficit.

St. Michael's Catholic Church is located in the heart of downtown Palmer and began a one-to-one listening campaign in their community at the beginning of Advent 2016. Since then, St. Michael's has held two public meetings with State Legislators to address funding cuts to the Alaska Pioneer Homes and seek funding solutions for the future.
Trinity Lutheran Church
Trinity Lutheran Church is located on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway between the cities of Palmer and Wasilla. Trinity formed a local organizing ministry team in February 2016 and have conducted extensive one-to-one visits with families in the community. In August 2017, Trinity's local organizing ministry held a public meeting with Alaska Housing Finance Corporation. Over a dozen members of the community gave testimony, sharing their experience with long waitlists for affordable housing.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church is located on Bogard Road in Wasilla. Sacred Heart formed a local organizing ministry team in October 2017 and have begun one-to-one visits with families in the congregation.
